6 years agoCalgary Flames defenseman Mark Giordano picked up a goal and an assist with a plus-2 rating, four shots on goal, four blocked shots and a minor penalty in Monday's 5-2 victory against the Arizona Coyotes. Center Mikael Backlund and right wing Michael Frolik each contributed with a goal, an assist and a plus-2 rating, while center Elias Lindholm stepped up with a pair of helpers and a plus-2. Lindholm has managed two goals with eight points and a plus-4 rating during his five-game point streak. The Flames host the Islanders in a battle of division leaders on Wednesday night.--Daniel Dobish
