5 years agoCalgary Flames defenseman Mark Giordano posted two assists in Saturday's 8-3 loss to Edmonton, helping Buddy Robinson and Matthew Tkachuk on the scoresheet. Elias Lindholm bagged an unassisted goal to wrap up the Flames scoring. Giordano also had three shots and blocks in the game, which he finished with a team-best plus-two rating. The Flames captain has been pretty quiet this year, and he's currently on pace for only 40 points, but he's in good form right now with five points in four games. Giordano has a nice matchup to continue the run on Tuesday against the Sharks, who are allowing the fourth-most goals per game this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
