Mark Ingram II Has An "Uphill Battle" To Play Against Buffalo
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram II (knee) remains questionable ahead of Thursday's matchup versus Buffalo. However, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the veteran still has a chance to play, although it will be an "uphill battle." Ingram continues to deal with residual swelling, so even if he does see the field, the ailment could undoubtedly slow him down, making his outlook even worse in what is already a difficult matchup against the Bills defense. Nonetheless, with Alvin Kamara (knee) already confirmed to miss his third consecutive game, Tony Jones Jr. could be in line to serve as the lead option out of the backfield.
