7 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram has been suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. It's a severe blow to Ingram's fantasy value heading into 2018 in what is the final year of his current contract. It also hurts that New Orleans bye is in Week 6. Ingram had a career-high 230 carries for his second straight 1,000-yard season and also had a career-best 12 scores on the ground. With Alvin Kamara set to take even more of the duties as the lead back in 2018, Ingram's stock is falling fast. Kamara was an electric rookie and was a steal in fantasy drafts last year. Heading into this season with Ingram set to sit out the first four games, Kamara could now make a case for a top-five fantasy selection.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
