6 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram is ready to make his season debut in Week 5 against the Redskins on Monday night after a four-game suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy. "He wasn't gone for a year and a half or been a castaway on an island," head coach Sean Payton said. "It was four weeks. He's in good shape." Ingram ran for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns last year and earned a trip to the Pro Bowl. He also had a career-high 58 catches for 416 yards. Payton didn't get into specifics about how he'd use Ingram and Alvin Kamara in tandem. "We'll figure out the balance with the Redskins game and going forward each game," Payton said. "You're always looking at how you want to play the game." Ingram makes this offense much better and gives them an added dimension between the tackles. He might be eased in, though, so he'll be more of an RB3/flex in his first game back. While Kamar may lose a few touches here and there, he remains a strong RB1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
