Assisted with some savvy defense from second baseman Jake Cronenworth, Melancon navigated around the runner on second and a hit to secure the 2-1 victory. The 36-year-old continues his phenomenal 2021 campaign, leading the majors in saves and rocking a 0.81 ERA and 0.81 WHIP with a 22 percent strikeout rate. Only two months through the season, the veteran right-hander has already returned excess value as a fantasy lottery jackpot this offseason.
