4 years agoWinnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele scored the team's lone goal in Saturday's 2-1 shock defeat against Ottawa, taking his point streak to six games. Kristian Vesalainen and Josh Morrissey registered the assists on the play. Scheifele has been red-hot right off the bat this season, finishing pointless just twice so far and racking up 18 points across 14 outings with 33 shots. The Jets struggled to generate offense on Saturday, but they now get matchups against Edmonton and Vancouver, which should be very high-scoring, so Scheifele's current point streak might not end anytime soon.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
