6 years agoBaltimore Orioles designated hitter/outfielder Mark Trumbo continued his second-half run in Friday's 19-12 loss to the Red Sox, going 3-for-5 with two singles and a solo home run. Trumbo's 17th HR of the season was an opposite-field blast off of Matt Barnes in the eighth inning. The veteran has been on fire since the All-Star break, mashing .333 with five HR and 14 RBI. While he doesn't provide much other than power, Trumbo does provide a lot of it and could be useful in deeper leagues down the stretch.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
