7 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles re-signed wide receiver Markus Wheaton on Tuesday after cutting him over the weekend. In a corresponding move, tight end Richard Rodgers (knee) was placed on Injured Reserve. Wheaton missed the first three preseason games with a hamstring injury and played 16 snaps in the preseason finale and did not catch a pass on one target. With Mack Hollins (groin) out this Thursday, Wheaton may be needed for depth. He caught only three passes for 51 yards in 11 games with the Bears in 2017 and can be ignored for now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
