Marlon Mack Believes He Can Be The Colts Lead Back
7 years agoAfter a rookie season characterized by flashes of both brilliance and questionable play with seemingly no middle ground, second-year Indianapolis Colts running back Marlon Mack believes he "can be that explosive guy" in the backfield for 2018. Unfortunately for fantasy owners who believed in that explosiveness, Mack finished his rookie season second in the league in percentage of runs that went for no yards or less (32.2 percent). With a crowded running back room including Robert Turbin, Christine Michael and two freshly drafted rookies, it is difficult to see why the Colts wouldn't utilize a running-back-by-committee approach for the upcoming season.
