2 years agoRunning back Marlon Mack, who was released by the Houston Texans on Tuesday, is planning to re-sign with the team's practice squad. Mack was one of the most surprising cuts of roster cutdown day on Tuesday, but he'll stick with Houston after all as veteran depth behind impressive rookie Dameon Pierce and Rex Burkhead. The 26-year-old had a serious Achilles injury while with the Indianapolis Colts two years ago, and he's just now getting back to full health. He won't be a fantasy option in 2022 unless injuries strike Pierce and Burkhead. With the expectation that Pierce will see heavy early down usage right out of the gates in his rookie season, he's rising up draft boards as an RB3/flex with upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
