Marlon Mack Rushes For 10 Yards
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Marlon Mack (Achilles) turned three carries into 10 yards during the team's 12-10 preseason Week 2 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday. It's not significant production, but it's notable because of the torn Achilles that Mack suffered at the beginning of the 2020 season. Not many players, especially running backs, return to form after suffering an Achilles tear, so seeing Mack gain positive yardage on limited opportunities was a good sign for the Colts' depth chart. Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines will continue to be the focal point of the backfield in 2021, but Mack could see short-yardage and goal-line work to spell Taylor or Hines.
