6 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling will be taking on a tough Seattle Seahawks defense on Thursday night for a Week 11 matchup. Valdes-Scantling has quickly established himself as the second receiving option in Green Bay this year. However, his production has been inconsistent and when he has had big weeks it has been largely big play dependent. While he has earned a good deal of trust from quarterback Aaron Rodgers there is still the occasional miscommunication. So it is a reach to suggest that Valdes-Scantling should be considered a WR2 for fantasy purposes at this point. However, he strongly warrants flex consideration for Week 11 due to his big play ability. Valdes-Scantling has good size and excellent speed and is the best deep threat option in Green Bay. He is inconsistent with creating separation in man coverage but the big play ability is there. Valdes-Scantling should be owned in all leagues and is a quality flex play or bye week fill-in for Week 11.--Tyger McGuiggan
