6 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling was in a position to get plenty of playing time with Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (concussion, hamstring) both inactive for the Week 5 contest against the Detroit Lions. He looked to be nervous to start the game, but he quickly shook it off and had a nice day. He caught seven of his 10 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown. It's also worth noting that he was down only a few inches short of having a second touchdown. Unfortunately for him Cobb and Allison could both return this week and cost him most of his fantasy value. If one of those two doesn't play next week then he still has some fantasy value, but if not he'll be overshadowed. Keep an eye on the injury report before Week 6 when the Packers take on the Dallas Cowboys.--Blake Sullivan
