Marquise Brown Takes Part In Individual Drills
2 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (hamstring) was back on the practice field at training camp on Monday and took part in individual drills. The plan is to increase his workload until he's going full speed, most likely by Wednesday, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The 25-year-old is unlikely to play in the team's preseason opener on Friday against the Cincinnati Bengals, but it's good news that he's back at practice this week. Brown hasn't practiced much with his new team this summer due to his injury and off-the-field issues, which isn't great as he tries to gain chemistry with new quarterback Kyler Murray. With DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first six games, Brown should operate as Murray's top receiving target. Consider him a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 target on draft day.
