Martavis Bryant Catches 36-Yard Touchdown In Loss
7 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant caught only two passes in his playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but he certainly made them count. The young wideout caught two of four targets for 78 yards and a touchdown as his team lost 45-42 in a shootout with the Jaguars. Bryant's score came on a 36-yard over-the-shoulder strike from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger at the end of the first half. While he only made one other catch in the game, Bryant ends his 2017 season on a positive note after losing his spot as the team's No. 2 wide receiver to rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster. Bryant has always been a boom/bust player, but he busted far more often than he boomed in 2017. He will look to carve out a bigger role in his team's offense in 2018.
