5 years agoHouston Astros catcher Martin Maldonado will start and hit eighth in Game 5 of the World Series. The veteran backup smoked a pinch-hit home run in Game 2 and will be called upon to guide starter Gerrit Cole in a pivotal game. Maldonado has seen only 17 at-bats all postseason but has performed admirably, slugging .529 with his limited chances. He will, however, carry little fantasy value in Game 5.--Joey C - RotoBaller
