3 years agoHouston Astros catcher Martin Maldonado will head into Tuesday's action against the Red Sox slashing only .163/.250/.279 through 147 at-bats this season. Maldonado is known for his defense and the occasional flash of power but really has struggled at the plate this season. The veteran catcher is not worth a roster spot in normal fantasy formats but will have a fantastic DFS matchup Tuesday against the Red Sox proposed starter Martin Perez. Maldonado is hitting a robust .571 through 14 career at-bats against Perez and the backstop also is slugging .517 against lefties overall this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
