3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Martin Perez only recorded 11 outs Saturday, as he was knocked out in the fourth inning of the game against the Philadelphia Phillies having allowed three runs on six hits and two walks. He struck out four batters, and two of the four hits he gave up went for home runs. Perez appears fortunate to finish his first half with a 4.04 ERA, as his 5.23 xERA is more representative of his performance to date. He's made a habit of making abbreviated starts, and fantasy managers will surely want to look to options who often more length and quality.
