Martin Perez Endures Rare Bad Start
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Martin Perez has been one of the most consistently solid starters in the majors this season, but that was not the case on Tuesday as Perez was knocked around by the Astros to the tune of six runs in two innings. Just five days after Perez pitched into the eighth against Houston, they got their revenge, picking up six hits and a walk while only striking out twice. The outing ballooned Perez's ERA from 3.09 all the way to 3.88. He'll look to get back on track Sunday against the Blue Jays, and fantasy managers should still feel confident running him out there despite the tough evening.
