Martin Perez Pitches Well In No-Decision Wednesday
5 years agoMinnesota Twins left-hander Martin Perez pitched well in a no-decision in a 14-4 loss to the New York Mets on Wednesday. Perez allowed two runs (one earned) over six innings of work while striking out four. Despite the fact that the bullpen let Perez down, it goes down as another strong outing for the southpaw. Perez now has an 8-3 record, 4.10 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 89 strikeouts in 101 innings of work. He will look to keep rolling in his next start, which comes on Monday against the New York Yankees.
