3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Martin Perez bounced back from his worst start of the year with another strong performance Thursday, allowing one run on eight hits and no walks in seven innings to the Detroit Tigers. He struck out five batters. Perez now has 10 quality starts in his last 11 trips to the mound, not to mention a 2.10 ERA and 1.11 WHIP on the season. His 65 strikeouts in 81 1/3 innings aren't very impressive, but fantasy managers will surely swap out the potential upside there for Perez's elite ratios.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
