Martin Truex Jr. Winds Up Third In The Irish Hills
6 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. did not lead a single lap in Monday's rain-delayed FireKeepers Casino 400 from Michigan International Speedway, but he still managed to finish a respectable third behind winner Joey Logano and Kurt Busch. Next up is a trip to Sonoma after a week off. Truex Jr. has picked up two wins at the road course in Sonoma, leading 154 total laps which is second among active drivers behind the elder Busch Brother. He has a 19.5 Average-Finish Position overall, and while he has two wins, his production at the track has been rather erratic over the years, so beware.
