Marvin Jones Jr. A Solid Week 1 Option
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. draws a plus matchup against a poor Texans defensive unit in Week 1. The Texans were plenty beatable through the air in 2020 when their seventh-most fantasy points allowed to opposing WR's, and they should be even more beatable this season following the trade of top CB Bradley Roby to the Saints. Additionally, Jones showed excellent rapport with Trevor Lawrence throughout the preseason. With the Jaguars surprisingly only favored by three points, there could be plenty of targets to go around in this one. Jones primarily offers appeal in deeper formats as a high-end WR4/flex option, but he's a solid play elsewhere as well considering the matchup.
