Marvin Jones Jr. Manages Just One Reception In Week 5
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars veteran wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. caught just one pass for 25 yards in the team's 37-19 Week 5 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Jones' letdown was especially disappointing as he had a pristine matchup, the Jaguars trailed for most of the game, and he seemed primed to dominate targets in his first game without D.J. Chark Jr. (ankle) active. The veteran wideout did have five targets in the game, but he was surprisingly out of sync with Trevor Lawrence throughout the contest. Looking ahead, Jones should be slightly downgraded into the WR4 range, though he's still a solid depth piece with better days ahead.
