Marvin Jones Jr. Tallies 40 Receiving Yards In Loss To Steelers
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. notched three receptions for 40 receiving yards on four targets in Saturday's 16-15 preseason loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran wide receiver played the entire first half with the rest of the offensive starters on Saturday night. In three-wide-receiver sets, the Jaguars had Jones, Christian Kirk, and Zay Jones available for Trevor Lawrence to target. The 32-year-old wideout hauled in 73 catches, 832 receiving yards, and four touchdowns in his debut season with the Jaguars in 2021. Even with more competition at his respective position, Jones shouldn't be forgotten in the later rounds in a Jacksonville offense that should show vast improvements during the 2022 campaign.
