Marvin Jones Jr. Wraps Up Year With Two Receiving Touchdowns
4 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. put a bow on his 2020 year by hauling in eight receptions for a season-high 180 yards to go along with two touchdowns during Sunday's loss to Minnesota. Jones even could have had a third TD grab if not for a somewhat controversial overturn by replay review. His yardage production marks his highest output since Week 3 of the 2016 year, having benefited immensely from facing an exploitable Vikings secondary with Matthew Stafford under center. Jones was the primary beneficiary down the stretch of Kenny Golladay's (hip) consistent absences, which may place his fantasy intrigue in '21 back to where it was to begin this year. Set to become an unrestricted free agent, where Jones plays next year and how crowded that team's WR corps is will likely determine his season-long viability.
