5 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones rewarded fantasy owners in a big way Sunday, catching six balls for 101 yards and one touchdown to lead the Lions over the Eagles. Jones was targeted a team-high nine times and did not disappoint, taking advantage of an Eagles secondary that has not been able to stop opposing receivers at all this season. It's hard to envision Jones leading the Lions in targets consistently, as Lions have had three different receivers lead the team in targets in each game so far, but he finds himself firmly in the WR2/WR3 conversation moving forward. Jones has another chance to shine next week in what should be a high scoring affair against the Kansas City Chiefs. Consider him a strong WR2 option for that matchup.--Joseph Magazzinich
