4 years agoMoving one step closer toward a title shot at middleweight, Marvin Vettori (17-4-1) took the dominant decision victory over late-notice replacement Kevin Holland in Saturday's main event. Implementing his game plan to control the bout on the mat, Vettori landed 11 of his 17 takedown tries over the 25-minute span of the bout. Though he only landed 24 significant strikes, he was able to land 152 total strikes. Currently ranked sixth in the division, Holland, who is ranked No. 10, stepped in for fifth-ranked Darren Till.
