7 years agoHouston Astros infielder/outfielder Marwin Gonzalez continues to struggle this season, slashing a ghastly .203/.250/.297 over his last 76 at-bats. He has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments this season after driving in a team-high 90 runs in 2017. The team certainly is desperate to get their versatile player going and Friday presents an unlikely opportunity. The Astros will take on Indians ace Corey Kluber, a pitcher that few hitters can say they have a track record of success against. But Gonzalez has fared well against Kluber and is 8-for-17 (.471) lifetime against him with two home runs. Friday is a sneaky good time to pull Gonzalez off the fantasy bench and give him a shot.--Joey C - RotoBaller
