6 years agoHouston Astros infielder/outfielder Marwin Gonzalez has come crashing back to earth over the last 11 games, posting only two hits over his last 37 at-bats. Gonzalez got off to a horrible start this season but had bounced back and had his batting average up to .257 before going into his most recent slump. Gonzalez drove in 90 runs in 2017 but he will be hard pressed to repeat that number with only 34 runs batted in at present. He has been one of the more disappointing players in fantasy to this point in the season and it is becoming harder and harder justifying a roster spot in any fantasy format moving forward. Currently he is slashing .230/.305/.364 with six home runs and 34 runs batted in through 261 at-bats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
