3 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Marwin Gonzalez stepped in at shortstop Thursday, and had himself a nice game, going 3-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs scored. Gonzalez is most useful for his positional eligibility, as he has played at every position except pitcher, catcher, and center field this season. He doesn't offer much in the way of power or speed though, with just two homers and two steals on the year, leaving him most likely ticketed for fantasy waiver wires.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
