5 years agoMinnesota Twins infielder/outfielder Marwin Gonzalez was able to put together a strong second half after a dismal first few months of his season. Gonzalez was hitting .211 on May 11 but has been able to rebound to post decent offensive numbers. The signing of Gonzalez certainly could seem like a disappointment from a fantasy perspective but the veteran gets a fresh start in the playoffs. The versatile role player hit .333 in the 2017 playoffs en route to a championship for the Astros and the Twins will be hoping for that same magic this October. Gonzalez is not, however, expected to crack the starting lineup in every game for the Twins.--Joey C - RotoBaller
