6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder/infielder Marwin Gonzalez hopes to put his horrible first half behind him heading into the All-Star break. Gonzalez is slashing only .230/.305/.355 with three triples, six home runs, 13 doubles and 37 runs batted in through 296 at-bats this season after a breakout campaign in 2017. These numbers are far cry from the 16 home runs, 53 RBI and .308/.391/.576 line he posted in the first half of last year. Gonzalez led the team with 90 RBI last season en route to a championship but it will be nearly impossible to match that number now. Gonzalez will get every opportunity to bounce back in the second half of but there is little doubt Gonzalez has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
