Masahiro Tanaka Roughed Up On Tuesday
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Masahiro Tanaka pitched poorly on Tuesday, allowing the Rays to pick up six runs (five earned) over four innings. The 14.1% hard-hit rate that Tanaka allowed was the worst mark he’s posted in a single game over his MLB career, and it wasn’t particularly surprising given that the 31-year-old left several pitches over the heart of the plate on Tuesday. Tuesday’s start can be written off as an off-game for Tanaka for now, but if his command struggles become a trend then fantasy players should become concerned.
