6 years agoGreen Bay Packers veteran kicker Mason Crosby had a day to forget Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Crosby left 13 points on the field as he missed four field goals and an extra point. The Packers lost by 11 points, so the poor performance was very crucial in the loss against the division rival Lions. Given the struggles with kickers, the talent available and his history with the Packers, it looks like he won't lose his job this week. Coach Mike McCarthy gave Crosby a chance for redemption on the last play of the game and Crosby nailed a 41 yard field goal. Hopefully the show of confidence by his coaches and teammates will help him get back to normal.--Blake Sullivan
