4 years agoIn a razor-close split-decision victory, Matheus Nicolau (16-2-1) earned a victory in the debut of his second stint with the UFC on Saturday. Keeping the statistics close, Nicolau tallied 55 significant strikes (76 total strikes) along with landing two takedowns. After a solid first round for Nicolau, his opponent Manuel Kape took the second round. Coming down to a very close third round, the judges were split and went with Nicolau (29-28, 29-28, 28-29).
