3 years agoNew York Islanders center Mathew Barzal had the lone highlight for the Islanders on Monday night. He scored on a breakaway just less than three minutes into the contest. Barzal had four hits and two shots on goal on the night. This is as much of an indictment on what surrounds the center. The Islanders need a constant depth presence, and not with players like Zach Parise. Barzal is up to four goals and four assists in a dozen games.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
