7 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Matt Adams clobbered the longest home run of his career Saturday in the team's 13-7 victory over the Reds. It was the longest home run of the season and the third-longest ever hit at Great American Ballpark. The three-run shot came in the first inning off starter Luis Castillo. It was his only hit in four at-bats, but he also walked and scored a run. Adams was starting in place of regular first baseman Ryan Zimmerman. Adams destroys right-handed pitching. Players with daily transactions should take advantage of this.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
