6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Matt Andriese is not considered as a candidate for the starting rotation, as the team ponders changes. The long reliever has pitched well in the back end of the bullpen and manager Torey Lovullo doesn't want to ruin the bullpen chemistry. "He hasn't really entered the equation for me because he's been throwing the ball exceptionally well out of the bullpen and I don't want to disrupt that," Lovullo said. Well, he was pitching well until Sunday, as he yielded three earned runs, four hits and a walk with three strikeouts over two innings to take the relief loss against the Chicago Cubs. His fantasy appeal is limited to deeper NL-only rotisserie leagues, especially those rewarding holds.--Daniel Dobish
