3 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Matt Barnes blew his fourth save of the year against the Oakland Athletics Friday, allowing one run on an Elvis Andrus home run in the bottom of the ninth. He went on to earn the cheap relief win when the Red Sox won in 10 innings, improving his season record to 4-2. He struck out one batter. Barnes has proven to be fallible lately, but he's still an excellent fantasy closer option with 18 saves for a first-place team.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
