7 years agoFormer Cleveland Indians relief pitcher Matt Belisle refused a minor league assignment and chose to become a free agent. He had been designated for assignment by Cleveland last week after posting a disappointing 5.06 ERA in 10 2/3 innings pitched. He was effective for the Twins last season, though, so he should be able to find work before long.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
