7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder Matt Carpenter started out the season as one of the worst offensive players in baseball. He got an entire weekend off to work on his swing and was later even pinch hit for in a critical late-game situation. Something seems to have clicked with the veteran, though, as he's now recorded 13 hits in his last 24 at-bats. He's absolutely on fire and has the talent to keep this up for a while. Fantasy owners who had him on the bench or even dropped him should look back into having Carpenter in their lineups.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
