3 years agoUpdating an earlier report, Oakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman (foot) was scratched from Monday's lineup due to a left foot contusion, according to Martin Gallegos of MLB.com. Gallegos reports that this issue could be related to Sunday's game, in which Chapman fouled a pitch off his foot. Managers should consider him day-to-day for now, and expect him to return to action Tuesday or Wednesday.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
