3 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and four strikeouts in a loss to the Yankees on Saturday. Chapman took Domingo German deep in the fourth inning, but couldn't do much else as he collected a golden sombrero, including whiffing to end the game as the tying run. Chapman has been hitting better lately as he's batting .304 with a .522 slugging percentage since June 4. The strikeouts remain an issue, however, as he's got a strikeout rate over 30 percent for the second-straight year.
