Matt Chapman Homers In Third-Straight Game Monday At Chicago
3 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a loss to the White Sox on Monday. It was Chapman's third-straight game with a homer as he seems to have found his power stroke after struggling most of the season. Most of Chapman's issues stem from a sky-high 31.7% strikeout rate, which has the former All-Star batting just .224 on the season. He can't be counted on for a high batting average with all those whiffs, but fantasy managers can ride this hot streak with three matchups against the back-end of the Chicago rotation next on the schedule.
