Matt Chapman Slotted In Two-Hole For First Time
7 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman is batting second behind Marcus Semien Tuesday against the Dodgers, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Chapman has routinely hit in either the sixth or seventh spot this year. This will be the first time he has hit second. He has been successful hitting down in the order. Chapman is batting .375 with an on-base percentage of .444, so he could potentially be successful getting on base. However, this will affect his RBI opportunities. Nonetheless, plug his power bat in the lineup and enjoy the results.
