3 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman tied a franchise record for walks in a game as he drew five free passes in a blowout win over the Indians on Thursday. Chapman came up in the ninth inning with a chance to tie the MLB record, but he struck out swinging. All that time on the bases translated to three runs scored. The former All-Star is marred in a rough season as he's batting just .214 thanks to a sky-high 32% strikeout rate. He'll have good matchups this weekend at Texas, however, so fantasy managers in need of 3B help can do worse than Chapman.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
