Matt Corral Shows Mobility At Pro Day
3 years agoMississippi quarterback Matt Corral showed off his right arm and a healthy right ankle at his school's Pro Day on Wednesday. At least four head coaches, the Steelers' Mike Tomlin, the Falcons' Arthur Smith, the Panthers' Matt Rhule and the Cowboys' Mike McCarthy, were on hand to watch him throw. Corral is projected as a potential first-round selection in next month's draft. The workout showcased his mobility while he made around 67 passes, of which only a handful were errant. The 23-year-old didn't throw or workout at the combine in February while recovering from a right ankle injury that he suffered in the Sugar Bowl. Corral completed 67.9% of his passes for 3,349 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions in 2021 as a junior.
