Matt DiBenedetto Hopes for Kansas Like Magic at Michigan
3 years agoMatt DiBenedetto needs a win to make "The Chase". The Wood Brothers Racing driver is on a bit of a roll of late. He also finished fifth at the Verizon 200 last Sunday. Now, can he carry any kind of speed at Michigan? At Kansas, DiBenedetto started fifth and the fear was that he would fate. To his credit, he finished fourth. That was more a testament to his abilities as a race car driver. He drove the heck out of that No. 21. DiBenedetto will have to do that again on Sunday just to stay in the top ten. This 550HP setup has not always been good for the driver. So, there is a risk but there could also be a reward. DiBenedetto will be one to watch early especially.
